1. The agreement

By using rafiq.academy (the “Site”) you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. The Site is operated by Rafiq LLC (“Rafiq”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in the United States. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These terms cover the website only. The Rafiq game will have its own terms when it is released.

2. Who may use the Site

The Site is intended for adults: parents, guardians, educators, and anyone curious about Rafiq. You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to join the waitlist or submit an application. If you are a parent sharing information about your child, you confirm you are their parent or legal guardian.

3. Waitlist and forms

Joining the waitlist does not create an account, guarantee access to the game, or form a purchase. It means we will email you when Rafiq is available, and occasionally with news. You can unsubscribe at any time. You agree to give accurate information and to use only an email address you own.

Submitting a job application does not create an employment relationship or any obligation on our part, other than to handle your information as described in the privacy policy.

4. Our content

Everything on the Site, including Rafiq’s character, artwork, films, text, logos, and code, belongs to Rafiq LLC or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view the Site and share links to it. You may not copy, modify, sell, or redistribute our content, or use Rafiq’s name or character to suggest we endorse something, without our written permission. Journalists and educators who want to use our materials can simply ask us.

5. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• submit false, misleading, or someone else’s information;
• use bots, scrapers, or automated tools against the Site or its forms;
• try to access data, systems, or accounts you are not authorised to access;
• interfere with the Site’s security or performance;
• use the Site for anything unlawful.

We may block access or remove submissions that break these rules.

6. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to other websites and uses third-party services such as hosting and analytics. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third parties. Their own terms and privacy policies apply.

7. No warranties

The Site is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be error-free or uninterrupted. Information about the Rafiq game, including features, dates, and pricing, describes our current plans and may change before release.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rafiq LLC and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to USD 100. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Rafiq LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, you keep any protections of your local law that cannot be waived. Before any formal dispute, please contact us; most problems are solved with one email.

10. Changes

We may update these terms as the Site and the game evolve. The “last updated” date at the top will change, and continued use of the Site after that date means you accept the new terms. We will not change them in a way that takes away your rights without telling you.
