We build a robot that kids build.
Rafiq is an educational game where children aged 6 to 12 assemble, teach, and grow a robot companion. Along the way they learn how AI and robotics really work, and how their school subjects show up in the real world.
Why Rafiq exists
Kids already spend hours a day with screens. We asked a simple question: what if those hours built something?
Most games are designed to keep children playing. Rafiq is designed to send them away smarter. Every mission is tied to a real learning goal, whether that is how a motor turns, why a sensor matters, or how an AI makes a guess. Children do not notice they are studying. Parents notice the difference.
We are a small team of game designers, engineers, artists, and educators. Some of us are parents. All of us remember the one toy or game that made us fall in love with how things work. We are building that for the next generation.
What we believe
Kids first
Every decision starts with one question: is this good for the child? If the answer is not a clear yes, we do not ship it.
Learning by doing
Nobody learns robotics from a lecture. Children build, break, fix, and teach. Understanding follows from their own hands.
Safe by design
No ads, no strangers, no dark patterns. Parents see everything and control everything, from one simple dashboard.
Honest about AI
Rafiq shows his thinking. Kids see that an AI guesses, can be wrong, and improves with good examples. That is the real lesson.
In their language
Rafiq speaks Arabic and English naturally, so children learn in the words they think in.
Built to last
We would rather grow slowly with families who trust us than grow fast and lose that trust.
The company
Rafiq is made by Rafiq LLC, a company registered in the United States. We are preparing the first release of the game and are growing a waitlist of families who want to be first to play. If you want to reach us, see the contact page. If you want to build Rafiq with us, see careers.
Be part of the story
Join the waitlist and we will write to you the moment Rafiq is ready to play.
